Recently, I was relocated to life in Hartford in my own apartment.
What do I think about Hartford? It doesn’t seem that bad. Yes, it’s a big city with lots of different personalities, but for the most part, people are still friendly and helpful.
You will always see or hear bad stuff going on, but it depends on if you believe the glass is half full or half empty.
I would like to believe the glass is half full – and hope to see more brighter and entertaining things that make me smile.
I like to walk down by the river, where I found a tree knot that looks like a piece of art. I go to Bushnell Park for peace and serenity. I like being able to go to the library and get my favorite murder mystery books by James Patterson and J.D. Robb.
Since I live on a tight budget, I like the words “free” and “cheap.” But I also like good food and pleasant people to be around that what I found with the Mercy Housing-Shepard House people. I am a lucky person to be around them. I know they will finish guiding me to a happier life.
